Opportunity Bank of Montana is seeking an Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Support Specialist II professional with experience working on technology projects, tackling IT issues, and enthusiasm for helping people. This position can be based in Glasgow, Billings, or in the general surrounding areas. As part of our tech support team, you will work with other exciting and knowledgeable IS&T team members and bank staff to:

  • Evaluate, recommend, manage, and complete new and ongoing projects for improved efficiency.
  • Act as the IS&T technical liaison to bank staff.
  • Be responsible for bank-wide information systems support and monitoring with a focus on Tier 2 support.
  • Evaluate, recommend, plan, procure, configure, implement, manage, and maintain bank technology systems, structure, hardware, and software.
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot employee access to various IT systems.
  • Monitor and resolve tickets and other IT related issues.
  • Work in conjunction with Managed Services Provider to maintain computer and application systems.
  • Create and maintain procedure manuals, forms, and documents.
  • Assist with IT audits.

Education and Experience Requirements

2-year associates degree (computer science, information technology or related) & 2 years' experience in information technology or related field - or equivalent combination of education & experience


Education and Experience Preferences

4-year college degree (computer science, information technology or related) & 4 years' experience in information technology or related field - or equivalent combination of education & experience to include one or more years of administration of Microsoft Active Directory Knowledge of financial institution software and hardware Experience training others in the use of information technology Experience with project management
